Green Tea Superfood

If there is one term you’ve heard before, it would be superfoods.  The term “superfood” is given to a food that is nutrient-rich, and may positively impact your health.

Foods such pomegranates, blueberries, acai berry, and Goji berry fall in the category of superfoods because of their power to improve your health.

Although there are many different foods that could be labeled “super” by the food industry, it’s important to note one thing:

There are a lot of foods on the market today that could provide plenty of health benefits, such as disease prevention or even better health.

Green tea can be traced as far back as 2737 BC in ancient China.  The emperor at the time, Shennong, was the first to drink green tea (and eventually wrote the first book on green tea) when he drank a cup of water that had a dead green tea leaf in it.
