The Best Green Tea For Intermittent Fasting

Not sure if you’re heard, but there is a best green tea for intermittent fasting plans.

Why is this important?  Drinking green tea while intermittent fasting could actually IMPROVE your results--that’s why!

And when I say improve…I mean smash them out of the water.

The reason why most people follow an intermittent dieting plan is to lose weight…increase energy…and protect their health from chronic diseases.

And it can do just that.


If you want to take an already great plan—and supercharge it—you would need to include green tea with it.

However, not any old green tea will do.  No, no…there is only one green tea that we recommend.

What Is Intermittent Fasting In The First Place?

If you don’t know what intermittent fasting is, let me briefly explain.

This plan is probably the hottest diet trend to date.  And for good reason.

Intermittent fasting has been shown to promote faster weight loss…improve insulin sensitivity…better blood sugar control…improvements in cholesterol and triglycerides…and a reduced risk for many different chronic diseases, including diabetes, heart disease, and age-related brain disorders.

It’s one powerful diet.

The diet itself is broken down into two different phases—a fasting and a feeding window.

And, to be successful on this diet, you need to adhere to both windows.  The fasting window is a period where you voluntarily avoid eating or drinking anything above 50 calories.

Most strict intermittent fasters do not consume ANYTHING with calories, so they can be sure that their fasting window is doing exactly what it should be doing—improving your health.

How does it work?

When you voluntarily avoid food, you’re forcing your body to use stored energy (usually from fat cells) to fuel your body.

It stops the liver from releasing “fat storing” hormones, therefore keeping your body primed to burn fat and help you lose weight.

However, for those who do need to eat something, it is recommended that you keep your calories to 50 or less.

The reason is very simple…

Anything over 50 calories may activate your liver, causing your body to store nutrients for later use.

This kicks you out of the “fasting” period of the diet, therefore keeping you from gaining the benefits of your fasting window.

Normally, people will fast for a few hours…to a number of days.  The most popular format, and one that is often recommended, is the 16/8 period—where you fast for 16 hours, and use the remaining 8 hours as your “feeding” window.

The feeding window is completely different than your fasting window.

Some plans say you can eat whatever you would like, as long as you’re falling in your calorie intake for the day.

Other plans recommend you eat sensibly during your feeding window, and start your feeding window off with a small salad to break your fast.

This is a gentle way to get the digestive processes working, which could keep issues like bloating and cramping at bay.

But let’s face it…

If you’re doing an intermittent fasting plan, than chances are, you want lose weight.  That’s why it’s recommended that you use a sensible, plant-based diet that contains plant-based proteins, and plenty of high-fiber, low calories carbs.

Oh…and you should be including green tea into the mix.

Although water is the preferred drink for intermittent fasting plans…
