Green Tea With Intermittent Fasting

If you’re on an intermittent fasting plan, there’s a good chance that you’re going to get hungry.

And when I mean hungry…I mean you’re going to feel like you could eat a bear with your appetite.

Although water does fill you up…it may not help much to eliminate the feeling of hunger you get when you voluntarily give up eating food for a certain period of time.

And coffee doesn’t help either—it just makes you feel jittery, on high alert, and shaky.

But you know what does work?  Green tea!  Green tea with intermittent fasting go hand in hand.

Why?

Well for one, it may not give you the shakes like coffee does—since the caffeine content is far lower than your average cup of Joe.

Now you may be asking why do people do an intermittent fast?

Some plans do allow for food, but you need to keep the calories UNDER 50 calories, or else you may be danger of kicking yourself out of your fasting window.

You see, during your fasting window, your body is repairing itself, and using your fat cells to fuel your body.

If you eat something that contains more than 50 calories, your liver starts to function, therefore kicking you out of fat-burning mode and into fat-storing mode.

And when this happens, you may lose all the potential benefits from your fasting window.

Now, some drinks are allowed during your fasting window.  Water can be included, since it carries ZERO calories, keeps you hydrated, and is no danger to your fasting window.

You could also include coffee during this phase—but only if it’s black and contains no additives or artificial sweeteners.

The only issue with coffee is that it may leave you feeling jittery and shaky, thanks to the caffeine.

But there is something that has the right amount of caffeine, and the right nutrients to push your fast in the right direction.
